Summary

Story Leaf is designed so that it does not need your personal information. The app has no account system, no advertising, no analytics, and no third-party tracking.

Information we collect

None. We do not collect, store, or share any personal information.

Data stored on your device

• Your reading progress, reading level, preferences, achievements, and dictionary look-up history are stored only on your device.
• Deleting the app deletes this data.

Network access

• The app downloads book files from our content server when you choose a book. These requests contain no personal information beyond what any standard web request includes (such as an IP address handled transiently by the hosting provider).
• Read-aloud narration and the dictionary run entirely on your device and require no network connection.

iCloud sync (planned)

A future version may optionally sync your reading progress between your own devices using Apple iCloud. That data would be stored in your private iCloud database, accessible only to you, and never to us.

Children's privacy

Story Leaf is suitable for children. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children.

Bug reports and feature requests

If you choose to submit a bug report or feature request, the form is hosted by Google Forms and is subject to Google's privacy policy. The app version number may be pre-filled to help us diagnose issues; submitting the form is always your choice.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new effective date.
